Daily close at each branch
The daily close happens at the branch: the sales, the expenses, and the checks for that date. LocalityUnion keeps that close on the business the branch belongs to, then lets the holding add them.
The day has a branch and a business
Receipts, adjustments, and amounts stay with the day and with the branch. Tomorrow does not overwrite yesterday, and another branch does not borrow this one’s total.
The fields follow the business. A restaurant and a rental desk do not pretend to be the same close. They do follow the same step.
Why the group close fails
When each branch finishes in a chat or a private sheet, the holding number shows up after the week you could have corrected. The close is how the group number exists on time.
The business’s cash and expenses are part of that day. A sales-only total is not a close.
Start with the close
You do not have to turn on every module to see whether the workspace fits. The demonstration starts with your businesses, their branches, and the daily close, which is enough to see the numbers.
The rest turns on when you need it. If the close is not what you need, we do not keep a demo account sitting around.
